Many people’s gripe with finishing 3D printed parts is sanding. Understandably so, as it can be the most time consuming part (and can be physically laborious at times). Aside from the paint job, sanding tends to be what makes the difference between a mediocre project and professional-grade. It’s all about that polish!
Along with his Peacekeeper, I created cosplay assets for 80% of McCree’s outfit. In this project, I tackled his belt buckle, belt bullets, gun, hat details, and flash bang grenades. It took over 100 hours to print everything and even more for post-processing the prints.
I loved Thor: Ragnarok, and not just because I have a deep connection to the comics and Norse mythology. While I don’t think I’ll ever cosplay as Hela, I wanted to make these swords for someone who might.
